Legal Mediation Practice Harrassing Calls At Place of Employment Jacksonville Florida

On Monday February 11, 2008 at 3:07pm PST. And I receive a call at my job from Mr. Justin Holt. And he stated that the company which I got a payday loan from back in November 2006. He stated that I owe a debt of $340.00. And if I did not pay this amount on today (02/11/08). That I would have a police office at my home after 5pm to arrest me. Then Mr. Holt transfer my call to Mr. Law which is his supervisor. And he was very rude and he stated that I would have to pay with debit credit card or pay with money gram or western union payment. I explain to Mr. Holt and Mr. Law that I did not have any money to pay off my debt. I explain to Mr.Holt that I had some fraudlent activity from other company. And I'm a single mother of one. And I pay all my monthly rent of $650.00 including paying all of my utilities by myself. So I explain to the both of them that I would need to make payment arrangements for the balance of $340.00. So I was upset with speaking with Mr.Law and he was not willing to work with me. So on my next break. I called Mr.Holt and he stated that I was going to make a promise to payment arrangement to pay the full amount of $340.00 on 02/15/08 via money gram payment. And to call him back on 02/15/08 with my reference number.

I just don't understand why bill collectors call people's place of employment and harrass them with threats.
