I received misinformation numerous times from LG Customer Services regarding repairs for my LG sound bar which is defective and still under warranty. I purchased an LG Sound Bar Model # LAS551H, Serial # 502HZKQ152941 and was having issues with the wireless subwoofer connecting to soundbar. I contact LG, in January 2016, and was advised to ship the soundbar to LG for repair. I Fed-Ex the soundbar to LG for repair 1/20/16.

Over a month later, on 2/19/16 at 2:53 pm, I contacted LG Customer Service to follow up on the status of the repair. I was told that LG was awaiting on the part need for repair. A week later called LG, I spoke with Vhee, who advised me that they had the part for the soundbar and the unit was being repaired. I called LG Customer Service, again on 02/24/16 and was advised by another LG representative, this time that the part needed for fixing exceeds the unit cost and that I would receive a refund and I was given this case # DRM160129638003. I was never told that I need to submit a receipt of purchase.

For the next 2 weeks each time I contacted LG I kept getting conflicting information, depending on whom I spoke with I was told, "The LG Soundbar is being repaired.", "The soundbar isn't repairable and you will be issued a refund." On 02/19/16, I spoke with Adrian, a supervisor and she advised me that she was sending a request to expedite the repair on my unit. I follow up within a week and was told that the unit couldn't be repaired.

I spoke with Evelyn at LG on 03/01/16 and was advised that the unit was shipped back because it was not repairable. Which I received the unrepaired LG soundbar with a letter stating, "LG Service Team has been trying to contact you, and because we were unable to complete repair of your unit. Our Return Authorization Group agents have been contacting you for a resolution, but we were unable to reach you. Therefore, we are shipping your unit back to you. I NEVER EVER received a call from LG,nor email and/or an form of contact from LG. Although I contacted LG every week since I shipped my unit for repair. So, I received back a LG Soundbar that does not work and still no refund check.

Upon receipt of unit, I called and spoke with a Supervisor, whom advise to send a copy of my purchase receipt to Melinda Hill, via email. Which I did. Still no refund! On 03/03/16, I contacted LG again asked for a supervisor and I spoke with Daniel Stewart, who give me his telephone # 855.400.4646 which when I call there is ALWAYS A BUSY SIGNAL. So Apparently this telephone is bogus.  I explained to him my ongoing issue, he advised to email him my purchase receipt, that he would not have a resolution on 03/08/16, and would contact me via telephone. Which I emailed Daniel, my receipt on the same day I spoke with him, 03/03/16 to Daniel.Stewart@LGE.com.

On 03/09/16 Hilary Robertson, contacted me and asked me to email her my purchase receipt for the unit. I asked Hilary Robertson when would my refund check wouldbe mailed? She advised me as soon as I emailed her my receipt. (This being the my 3rd time I emailed my proof of purchase for the DEFECTIVE LG Soundbar.)

As of today 03/17/16, I haven't received the refund for my purchase of a defective LG Soundbar. Which LG didn't repair. I have emailed Hilary Robertson, at Hilary.Robertson@LGE.com to check on status of my refund check. I haven't received a reply back from her. I emailed Daniel Stewart at Daniel.Stewart@LGE.com, again no reply back regarding the status of my refund check. LG has the worst customer service and problem resolution. It shouldn't take 2 months for a refund check to be issued to me on an item LG Soundbar which is still under warranty , that LG didn't repair! I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANOTHER LG ELECTRONIC!
