Merrick Bank ripoff unreachable sky-high interest rates wont talk bought Nextcard Hicksville New York

My family had a very bad last quarter of the year. My husbands mother was murdered by her husband, my father-in-law, on my birthday. With everything that had to be done since then, my credit cards were the last thing on my mind, so they have gone delinquent.

However, I have been trying repeatedly to reach Merrick Bank at all the numbers they have sent to me, and I never get anything but disconnected. I was beginning to think it was just me, until I tried to look them up on the net; and found this site as well.

I couldn't remember having a Merrick Bank credit card and on this site is how I found out that Nextcard was sold to these "People". My interest rate went from 9.9% to 24.7% with a late fee of $35. This is unreal.

I don't know how to get in touch with a person with this company, but I'll figure it out. Nobody has the right to ruin a very important part of our futures, our credit with having to answer to anybody. Good Luck to the rest of you who have to deal with this company as well.
