OLD REPUBLIC HOME PROTECTION ripoff San Ramon California

I recently had to use my home warranty plan from OLD REPUBLIC HOME PROTECTION

When I first purchased this plan I was told by a ORHP rep that should anything fail in the house, the item would be repaired or replaced. The only cost to me would be a service call cost of $45.00.

I just found out that the heater blower motor was not the right size, thus not operating properly. Now, I'm not a AC/Heater tech., if I was I would repair it myself. I did not install the blower motor. I'm just a simple guy who bought a home warranty plan and was told that if something needs to be replaced or repaired, I can call Old Republic and their office will fix my non-operational part of my house.

The service call cost was $90.00.

The authorization department employee Sheng, operator #7674 was polite to me, but would not see to that my problem would be fixed without out of pocket epense on my end. She offered me a payout, but that is not what I wanted. I want my AC/Heater to work properly.

In a nut shell, she offered to pay me out $209.00. I'm not a handyman, and I know the $209.00 is not going to pay for a contractor to repair/replace my AC/Heater system.
