My current payment with this so called company was due on December 9, and today's date is December 13th. I get a call today saying that I better pay up today or else. To which I say I am not going to be bullied. He say's that I have had 3 deferments in 2 years and I have been late 18 times out of the last two years of payment's that I have made. But let me tell you I have been tops 2 weeks late on a payment most companies give you a 10 day window to make a payment not this company. I told him I would be making my payment on December 21, seeing as my first check of the month goes toward paying my RENT and other household essentials. He said he did not care and I would be making this payment before the 21st. I then told him I wouldn't have a dime extra until then. Then, this "gentleman" asked me to verify my home address and where I worked. I asked him if they were going to come get my car or where could I drop it off at because I wasn't going to be bullied. He then asked me could I afford the car and I said yes It's not like I am even 6 weeks late but 4 DAYS. But what I can't seem to put into words was the adverserial and angry way he spoke to me. TELLING ME not asking me when the payment would be made. I am currently trying to get refinanced through my credit union at work because I refuse to be treated this way. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you about when I called them October to tell them the Friday before I got payed that my payment would be in the following Friday. Again with the same adverserial bullying tone I was called a b***h when I went to hang up on a "credit manager" who was being verbally abusive.

Doesn't take repos' to need this type of loan. There is alot that can come into play these day with medical bills and such that I hope you and your family will not have to experience. There comes a time a human element needs to be taken into consideration and one does not need to be a total &&&. With all do respect it sounds to me that "Give It A Break" has a vested interest in Peak 5. I am not defending anyone since I agree you should make every attempt to pay your bills ontime. I can tell you that thru an very reliable source that this type of practice is not going without notice and may lead to trouble for Peak 5..So one never knows when they will be on the otherside of the phone...Good luck...

NOW WHY IS IT THAT YOU HAD TO GO TO A SUB PRIME LENDER IN THE 1ST PLACE? OH, I KNOW, YOU COULDNT MAKE ONTIME PAYMENTS WHEN YOU HAD THE CHANCE. PROLLY HAD A REPO OR 2. OR, MAYBE YOU RAN UP SOME CREDIT CARDS & DIDNT PAY THEM BACK. EITHER WAY, THIS IS A 2ND CHANCE LOAN. COMPLAIN ALL YOU WANT, BUT UNTIL YOU LEARN TO KEEP AGREEMENTS THAT YOU MAKE, YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE THIS KIND OF LOAN. 18 OUT OF 24 MEANS THAT OUTTA 2YRS, YOU KEPT YOUR WORD 6 TIMES! IF YOU WERE LATE TO WORK 18 OUT OF 24 DAYS, DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE FIRED? MAYBE THATS WHY YOU HAD TO GET THIS LOAN IN THE 1ST PLACE. MAYBE YOU COULDNT BE ONTIME TO WORK EITHER. ALSO , WHY IS IT BULLYING TO ASK YOU TO UPDATE YOUR ACCT?TIME TO GROW UP HERE!

Peak 5 called me again yesterday, I told them immediately I would not speak to abusive persons and they said that they would put me down as a refusal to pay and put my account up for review. I told him again I wasn't refusing to pay but refusing to be abused this person then told me I need to be a woman and pay my bills, I then hung up on him. I called back to the customer service line and I was told that the credit manager put me down as a refusal to pay. This company has now resorted to LIES. I am currently looking for a lawyer in order to make sure this company can't continue to abuse others this way. I don't know for sure if their tactics are illegal but this is surely causing me pain and suffering!!! Just in case they happen to read this, I WILL be recording all calls from this company from now on. I advise anyone else who deals with this company to do the same.

Just spoke to a "customer service rep" for Peak Jive or five and He told me that my car was NOT in repo status and wouldn't be for 2 months. It seems that the customer service reps have to do a lot of repair work for their "credit managers". If you want to be abused just wait they'll call and abuse you and you still have to pay!
