I'm in NZ and was entering a local competition,  I got a pop up that I had a message.  It took me to a site saying that I was today's lucky winner in my town-$3000 travel spree.  Clicked on the link and was told to call an AKL number within 4 mins.  Decided to see what the scam is.
Went straight to a US number - a Kaitlyn Mcain assured me that it was a no charge call - have yet to see if that is true.  I got a spiel from Kaitlyn Mcain along the line of.... I am a lucky winner I had 4 mins to call, the call is free to me.  This is an amazing offer.  Me and 3 other people can holiday in multiple locations.  18 months to take holiday.  They are Preferred Guest Resorts.  [Googled and saw scam reports and no website].  I was told that I have to give 45
days notice before using the travel voucher. I could break up the travel into different time frames, or travel with less people.  Travel to each location in any order.  The travel voucher is transferable. At Orlando they as us to attend a 90 Min resort tour with lunch (sales pitch prob for a timeshare). [While she talked, and talked I tried on another machine, diff IP, diff logon guess what?  same prize I guess we have different ideas of what constitutes Todays Winner in Waitakere Anyway after the spiel they push this itinerary at which point you find out if the additional cost of 898USD.  At this point I was firmly saying I am not spending the money - there was a bit of a push but Kaitlyn did not push it too far.  Following all the web links there is a strange mix of info but also a lack of it that would not give me confidence that if I rocked up to collect my prize that I would actually get it.  Suggest anyone looking into it proceeds with caution and do not provide email or credit card details until YOU have all the info you need and are sure you want to proceed.  If feeling the pressure just hang up.
