Please, watch out for this big scam, scam, scam.  I was searching on craiglist.org a house for 
rent in Indianapolis, when I saw a beautiful house for $500 when I contacted the alleged 
owner Rchard Smith via email. I asked him if the house was still available and this is what he answered:


Good Day!I did get your response concerning the AD that I posted on Craigslist. The
house is STILL AVAILABLE but presently I'm not around with my family, we are away to
JENNINGS IN FLORIDA and I am renting this house to a responsible and honest person
or family who has the fear of God that can treat my house as his or her own.... I
would like you to know that i am giving this property out for rent because i have
been posted to JENNINGS IN FLORIDA as an Pediatrician (KID'S DOCTOR) and I will
spend couple of years before i would be through with my assignment here and
presently cant receive or make any calls just because i was attending to some
patients that need a very serious attention, but you can email me or text me on this
number (352) 575-0373 or  you should drop a voice message and i will get back to
you,  please bear with my reason alright!. Even when im back from the assignment, me
and my family had decided moving to our other home in Dallas,
 TEXAS ,Kindly check some information about the house and complete the tenant

with details to enable us choose the right tenant..Try and understand that its not
money that matter to us but what really matter is to have the right person to
occupy our apartment and that was the reason why we are not charging any fee on

Then I asked him when can I see the house and this is what he answered:

Security Deposit of $500 so that my shipper can be instructed to ship the keys and
the house documents across to you after payment confirmation, ok! and your house
rent should be paid after your move in date..

Please Reconfirm your Address for the shipping of the keys/document across to you
ASAP: I need your address to ship the keys and document of the house to you Asap

Below is my information to make the payment via WESTERN UNION, alright!

I replied to him that I wanted to see the house interior first and that I don't send 
money via Western Union, etc; all transactions I do in person.  He then replied to 
me via email "OKAY".  I then called him via phone requesting a way to see the 
house inside but he kept saying that I have to send him the money deposit first 
and then he will send me the keys.  But I told him that I still need to see the house 
first and finally he hung up the phone on me. Thanks God I did not fall into the 
trap by him.  I am reporting him so that anyone doesn't fall under this SCAM.
