Straight Talk is running a data scam! I’ve had the service 4 or 5 months. Have never used more than 2 GB in a month. All of a sudden, my data is completely used up in a week or so. They are telling me that I have to add another service plan. I explained that the plan states that I get 10GB of high speed, and 2GB thereafter. They are stating that I don’t have that plan (even though that’s what my account states), and that although I’ve supposedly only used 8.30GB that my data is exhausted! They also can’t explain how all my data has just mysteriously disappeared, although my phone wasn’t even being used on two of the highest data usage dates. I was at work both those days and was not using phone nor data!

In regards to your data allotment

You mentioned that your plan offers 10gb then 2gb. What you likely meant was 10gb and then your service slowed to 2G (not 2gb) for the remainder of your billing period. That's very slow and hardly usable, but still data at 2G speeds. What I would recommend is one up to Unlimited for $10 more. I've also had issues with Straight Talk recently, but I thought my clarification on terms might help you.

Straight Talk Scam

Although I contacted Straight Talk as Edzel asked me to do, actually chatted with Ramel....I got absolutely nowhere! Of course they are unwilling to admit that they are screwing over their good paying customers, by somehow stealing data without data actually being used! I would like to have this investigated further, since I am not the only customer claiming that this is an issue!
