Company includes many testimonials and denigrates other study guide companies. They claim to use a battery of certified teachers to ensure they are up-to-date on Praxis II topics. I bought a "Comprehensive System" to handle the Praxis II math: content knowledge and pedagogy( tests 0061 and 0065). The $57 e-book only addressed the content knowledge and no material germane to the pedagogy essay type "constructive" was provided. My complaints to the customer "no-service" got a long winded vacuous response essentially stating that "we cannot be responsible for what the authors of the text decided to put in it but their material is constantly updated." Well, the copyright was 2005 and did not address all the content found on the 2010 version of the content knowledge. As for "pedagogy",no material was provided notwithstanding the company's on-line statement that this "system" covered "content knowlege", "pedagogy" and "modelling." No examples were ever provided as guidance despite complaint to customer service. They have a fax but no phone. I asked for tutoring in the essay writing to handle the "pedagogy deficit" as I was entitled to a 15 minute session as part of the deal. I got no tutoring just an offer to tutor if I failed the Praxis.II.
I happen to be a certified math teacher with 25 years classroom experience in Canada and a 3.97 GPA on my Masters degree. I did pass both Praxis tests with high scores and so will be certified in the U.S. too. I find this company's claims exaggerated and suggest you save your money. Even the Praxis official guides give a misleading sense of confidence as the creators of the real exam clearly are shifting the focus of the test after seeing what students are boning up on based on the guides one can obtain each year. Your best hope is to review all the math you took from Grade 9 to the third year of your undergraduate courses. This may consume several months but will give the depth of coverage needed to make the "content skills" exam. As for pedagogy, check out the various ideas for lessons offered online by the various professional teacher organizations which will serve much better than "teaching solutions" non-material. The company hints at saving candidates much study time by only concentrating on some mythical "secret series of state approved topics." They claim to incorporate the latest exam developments due to having an advisory group of certified teachers on tap. Don't believe the hype---especially about them being so much better than "those other companies." and that's from a certified seasoned classroom veteran with a high pass in Praxis.

Educational Services...Total Lies

If you think my report was total lies then you have the option to spend your money as you will but I strongly advise you that a fool and his/her money are soon parted. Your experience may be wonderful, you may be paid by the company to advocate their side---especially as they push their products with testimonials. I am being paid by nobody and relating only my personal experience. As I said, caveat emptor.

I am the original author of the complaint about Educational Services and I standby exactly what I said. Perhaps in the intervening time between my original report and the "This is a Scam" entry it may be Educational Services has provided a phone number however when I had problems there was no phone but I did get email responses from them. However, they were to the effect that they couldn't cover all the material. However, I had expected a book on Math theory and another section on teaching methods but only got one one such as it was. It covered some standard topics on math theory only....no, teaching methods. I did very well on the Praxis itself and followed up with a Masters degree. My success was consequent to math theory material I had covered in Canada in the 1960's. My teaching methods were not provided by these folks but came about through a quarter century of practical classroom experience in addition to acting as an advisor and supervisor of beginning teachers for the University of Victoria in British Columbia.Perhaps, your experience was different or maybe you are being compensated for challenging me on this but speaking from my experience, Educational Services just didn't deliver the goods. The only reason for doing the Praxis in the the first place was due to the need to translate professional qualifications to the U.S. I trust this clarifies my position.

Total Lies

This is just all lies. There is a number to call and a form to communicate with customer service by email. Most people on this site complaining about Teaching Solutions always say they took "so long" to respond. If anyone had any patience they would wait for them to respond to their inquiries instead of posting all these silly lies online.
The content of the guides are good! I have used them! Some people just don't know how to study hard enough is the only conclusion I can come up with.
Don't listen to people like this! This is a wonderful company with a refund policy so I don't see why there is so much lying going on.

Have you really ordered their book??? i have doubt. Because if you have ordered their book and found "SO MANY" problems and never demand a refund.
Now, i am telling you the truth, you are here to publish scams against Teaching solution. They have the best teachers who are involve in developing those course guide. You are here making some issues against them.
Also, you speak differently from other customers, you don't find any telephone number, but it was given to you by e-mail. You should check that first. You took all their advantage. You should be grateful to them instead of publishing scams against them.
