Total Home Protection Be aware of what you DON'T get with Total Home Protection Philadelphia Pennsylvania

I bought a 12 month + 1 bonus Platinem level total home protection home warranty on December 7, 2017. I skipped the Gold and went to Platinum wanting the extra protections. On February 23 2018 my sump pump quit. It had been raining for days at this point. Of course my basement started leaking. I called in the late eveing and was told they do not have after hour or emergency service. My info would be given to a rep on the next business day. I told her my basement was flooding. Again, she offered to give my info to the rep on the next business day.

I hung up but got to thinking. Was Saturday a business day? I called back and specifically asked. She said yes on Saturday. I waited until 9:30 am and had heard mothing so I called again. No, come to find out the next business day was not in fact Saturday its Monday! They offered to resubmit the info. Um, no what good would that do?

I contacted a plumber and had my sump pump replaced within an hour $500. I called on Monday thinking I could submit my invoice to get paid back. Nope. I was told I didn't have sump pump coverage.

If you look at their chart of things covered with the different levels Sump Pump (permanently installed) is clearly marked in the Gold column. Platinum should include this but according to them it doesn't. I demanded my money back.

It took until the 19th of March to get my money back and that was after several phone calls.
