#1 UPDATE Employee

Walmart Life Insurance

AUTHOR: Jay - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 12, 2004

True, Walmart has a policy on my life, and the life of each employee in the company. They pay for a life insurance policy that matches our annual incomes, at no cost to us. Before you blow your tops over this, you might want to know that Walmart is only one of many companies that do this, and it is perfectly legal.

Yeah, we do sort of resent it, but then again, they are paying for a policy that pays my spouse if something happens to me. They, and all the other companies that do this use the rationale that it takes a certain amount of money to replace the employee...training, etc. The only bright spot is that should something happen to me, they are going to spend a heck of a lot more replacing me than they have me insured for.
