Western Digital ripoff on 2 rebates @ $50 each on WD products purchased Miami Florida

In good faith I took Western Digital at their word on the rebate offer made on a 200 GB hard drive (Firewire/USB). The rebate was for $50 and carefully examining the form there was no household limitations. All requirements on the rebate form were carefully matched and 2 individual submissions were made. As I have previously experienced a ripoff from Western Digital I mailed these 2 by certified mail return reciept. I have received both return cards back one dated 6/16/2003 and the other 6/20/2003 both stamped received with the name Bernardo Garcia.

On 7/12/2003 I have recieved the following message on a postcard: Dear Customer, Thank you for participating in this promotion. Unfortunately we could not honor your request due to the following reason(s): You have already submitted the maximum number of claims per household, OR the information that should have been unique to your claim (i.e. Serial Number , Transaction Number etc. matches the unique information from another claim.

Out of a total of 4 rebates submitted none have ever been honored
