AT&T I have been a customer of AT&T for over 5 years and have internet and direct tv. I decided to cancel my direct tv because my bill keeps going up and was told my contract was up and would pay no cancellation fee and to send back my equipment which I did. Carol Stream Illinois

 I also desided to upgrade my wifi with there special offer. I called to have them install and asked about what I should do to notify them about the switch and told me to call and let them know which I did and made my last payment and as told there would be no more charges on there end. Today I recieved a bill for both of the service that I cancelled? I called asking why I'm being charged and after 3 hours on the phone got no where. They said I have a 0 balance and then was told by another that I owe the $112.00 and am now being charged for both internet sevices. Why would I pay for internet I no longer recieve.

Was sent an offer to upgrade my At&t internet for better internet service through AT&T.  I also cancelled my direct TV and sent back the equiptment and was told that my contract was up and I owed nothing. I was told by the person who installed my new internet to call and cancel my old sevice which I did and payed my last bill with them and informed them of the switch and was told I will not be billed on there end because I switched to there special offer. I then recieved a bill saying I owe them for direct tv and internet which I cancelled? I have gone to the point of calling them 3 times for over 5 hours to only be put on hold over and over then told they will call me back because they don't know what to do but never call me back. I was told lies that I no longer owe them but then got a bill with late charges and because it seem to be a different biller I am now paying for 2 interent services and TV I no longer have.

have you gotten a message yet stating "read the fine print" or you have to take your complaint to Arbitration yet? good luck...File a complaint with the FCC also...try the BBB..and post it on twitter, Facebook and other social media sites you may belong to...
