Value City Furniture Sold pieces of furniture that were not in stock when the said it was. Invoice 59-240527 Baltimore MD

So I went and bought a couch and a chair and a half on May 22, 2021. The color I chose was because I was told that they were in stock and delivery date was set for July 02, 2021. I was ok with that, rather long wait for something IN STOCK. I called two days ago to confim delivery. Dliever, I was told that couch was still on track, as of June 28, 2021. I was supposed to have been contacted to confirm a time for delivery. I was not contacted on June 29th to confirm. Becuase Value City Furtniture does not take out you current furniture, the customerhas to schedule that of which I did.

It was scheduled for pick up on June 30, 2021. So i currently have no furniture. But thats ok, becuase the delivery was confimed on June 28.... Well wehn I contacted ValuCity Furniture today, when I contacted Value City Furniture to confirm a time on time on July 02, I was told that the couch was ushed back until the end of July. I was NEVER contacted either by email, phone...nothing. I had asked, but I was sold something that was in stock. Thats why I chose that color, usually in stock means its available.

Apparently not. From what I was told today is that I will receive my chair and half on Friday but not the couch. So the couch wasnt in stock? Did the salesperson mislead me? Actually lie to me that the furniture is in stock? Becuase apparently the couch is not. The delviery charge was 159.99 plus tax. So, I am paying for some items that were not available to begin with is that correct? If they were in stock I sure would have thought that from May 22, 2021, you would have been able to get them here by July 2, 2021. Well my couch availability and delivery be changed again down the road? Without notice?
