2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Sent Contractor that was unable to perform simple job Denver Colorado

Member of 2-10 for two years, 67 year old disabled Veteran, dependant on water based therapy.

Water was not getting hot, called 2-10.  Contractor came out worked on heater left and water never got hot.  Paid $100.00.

Called again, same contractor came out worked on heater and then said water heater needed to be turned. We paid anotehr $100.00.  Called 2-10 and asked if we could pay the contractor to turn the water heater since he was a plumber.  Also, asked if there was another plumber they could refer.  They only had this one plumber in our area and asked us to get an outside plumber.

We obtained a licensed outside plumber and was told that 2-10 contractor totally misdiagnosed the problem.  The water heater had a leak and needed to be replaced.  Since they had told us to get an outside plumber we had the licensed plumber to put the new water heater in, and document the misdiagnoses and cost of his work.

They now refuse to reimburse us for the work.
