BEWARE CONTRACTUAL SCAM!!!! ADT CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!

Before using this (lack off) service, shop around!!! It will save you a lot of grief, money and time. They will come to your home or place of business and offer monitoring services. What they do not tell you is that the contract is for 3 years. Read the fine print before signing, make the sales rep sit there while you read it. They will probably try to give you a summary but leave out the parts that affect you. One of their tricks it to increase monitoring fees after one year, it is done at their discretion and they also renew the contract automatically, this is for "your convenience". They offer you a great deal at first then they increase the rates yearly and only give you a 30 day window to catch on to their scam. This is the typical bait and switch scam. On the other hand they fail to tell you that if the alarm system is damaged. It is your responsability to fix it, if you prefer they will charge you more than the system is worth to get it running again. If you refuse to pay the reinstallation fee they will simply keep sending you bills for the remainder of the contract. You will be under contract to pay for no service at all. This company is a scam, they do not back up their product or service. There should be no reason why someone will be forced into a long term monitoring service. You should be able to use it when you want it. For all their commercials about family protection, their bottom line is trying to get every single dollar they can out of you. They do not care about your family or your business, dont let them pray on your weakness.
