American Residential Warranty ARW Aggressive sales, will deceive you with "temporary" claim number, years of payments do not matter Florida? Chicago? Nationwide

After years of payments to this company I finally needed their service for a faulty furnace fan as part of my HVAC system.  I was first told that my policy was canceled.  I told them they had just taked a payment out 10 days proior.

Next they told me that they only paid for items that were completley broken but I explained that if I let the fan run until broken instead of a hundred to two hundred dollar repair it could run from $1,000 to $5,000 as it might affect the electronic thermostat and A/C.  Better to fix the fan as it was breaking down.

They gave me a "temporary" claim number and the go ahead for repair but called me several days later and claimed there was a "30 day grace period" due to a paymetn mix up.  This after six years of loyal automatic electronic payments.

I demanded immediate cancelation to which they said they needed it in writing.  After several minutes of demanding they cancel it immediately they said they would accept an email notification.

This is not a legitimate insurance company it is a scam.  They have their OWN review site online but will ONLY accept reviews from their 'satisfied' customers (or more likely agents) and if the reviews are negative will delete the comments.  Believe me I've tried it.
