AT&T RIPOFF INTERNET CELL PHONES Los Angeles California
*Consumer Comment: Not lies about sites downloaded.
AT&T added an additional 528$ to my cell phone usage charge. according to their records. costs incurred were the result of internet use. i do not use the internet on my cell phone. it's useless. I called AT&T and requested documentation of the sites i downloaded from...they informed me technology doesn't allow for that type of information. they don't have the capacity for that. what a lie. yet they were able to submit KB/min usage information. I think AT&t is an evil organization. they are part of the Government surveillance system . Welcome to the new world order. compliments of AT&T.

Though technology does allow you to show sites you go to. AT&T is not allowed to see that due to privacy laws.
For your issue... maybe you have another phone opened to the same plan and internet is being used there. Or your phone is automatically connecting to the internet. Downloading music, ring tones, wall papers all require internet access on the phone. Instant messaging like AIM, MSN, Google require the internet. Maybe you did go online for other things like email and instant messaging and thought that it doesn't require internet
