Crunchless Abs, Savvier The Magical Membership Opt out option not available program Van Nuys California

Ordered the Crunchless Abs DVD for my wife from their online website. Being aware of the hidden opt ins that can be included on these types of sites was very careful to deselected any automatically check boxes while completing the order process. The order for $19.89 + 6.91 in shipping charges completed and was processed by my bank. We received the DVD in a timely manner which my wife is very happy with. Had things stopped here I wouldn't be writing this.

Today I notice another charge for $26.98 pending from Crunchless Abs (Savvier is the parent company marketing this item). Having not authorized any additional purchases I immediately contacted their customer service using the 800 number. They clearly are using an off shore call center (I have worked for one of the worlds top rated companies which is known for the quality of it's Customer Service). The agent I spoke with indicated that I had been automatically enrolled in an program with re-occuring charges that would process monthly and there was another order pending to be shipped in 30 days with another $19.98 charge.

I advised her that I had not authorized any additional purchases and didn't wish to recieve any additional products from this organization. She indicated that the next shipment had already been processed and shipped which is why I was seeing the charge. When I indicated that I would be refusing to accept delivery she indicated that this wouldn't have the product returned in a time manner. I had to emphatically indicate at least 3 times that I wasn't interested in recive any additional products from them before I could get her to issue an RMA.

With the issuance of the RMA she indicated that she has cancel the membership and no further charges should be processed. Additionally she indicated that they Do Not include a return shipping label with the orders they ship. This means that not only must I accept the unauthorized shipment but I must pay the return shipping charges out of pocket and have no real guarentee that the refund for the unauthorized charge will be promptly refunded.

It should be noted that Savvier also markets this product on Amazon as well. I will update this report as the process work itself through.
