Expresscameras.com WOW! I'm in shock! These guys are the biggest liars and cheets I've ever come across New York Internet

I was looking to buy the Nikon D200 and I wanted to buy a lens or two at the same time. I had a budget of $3000.00 and I wanted to get the most for my money I searched the web for the best price. Expresscameras.com was advertising the body only for $1299 but they never said that the battery and charger is sold separately until after I paid for it. Who does that? And to add salt on the wound the wanted to charge me $400 bucks for a $50.00 dollar battery. They claimed it was a better battery than the one that comes with the Nikon D200. I checked with Nikon they said they had no battery EN-EL3exl I couldn't figure out if they just thought I was stupid and I would just say gee ok here take my money.

I decided to compare prices on all my add-ons with other stores. Wow, what a rip. The lens I bought at expresscamera.com cost was $400.00 more than the next most expensive place.

When called to cancel my order I was transferred 4 times and then left on hold for 40 min. I hung-up and called again to find out they had closed. The next day I called first thing they left me on hold for at least 30 min before I was given to the right person. He tried to drop price with me to get me to keep my purchase. I told him, I wouldn't do business with your company even if you gave me everything for free.

After getting my refund I went to my local camera store and bought everything I needed for just over $3200. I'm sure I could have found it cheaper online and maybe I could have saved on sales tax but it was worth it for me to have a store I can go back to a deal face to face with my salesperson.
