If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.

Following placing my order online, I called customer service because I wanted to confirm. The rep informed me that there was no way to confirm an order until it reached her. Their order process is to take someones money and then actually process an order many days later.

Due to the fact that they had no idea of what my order was, I tried to cancel, but they couldn't cancel because they couldn't find the order. Even after breaching the terms of their agreement with me, they would not process the cancellation.

At this point, I was so frustrated, that I disputed the charge with my credit card, filed a complaint with the BBB, and ordered the dress from a more reputable vendor.

Now I have two dresses, an ongoing fight with HOB and my credit card, and a vehement hatred towards the policies and procedures of HOB.

Save yourself the pain, and go somewhere else. Even if you have to pay more, this is supposed to be a happy occasion where people take care of you.

In addition, if you are dressmaker or designer, I would suggest that you pull your lines from this store. They are absolutely terrible.

I'm so sorry...i've had similar problems!

I'd strongly, strongly, strongly (PLEASE) encourage you to file a report with the better business bureau. You can do it online and it won't take you long, you can basically copy and paste the above info.
When i did it last night, i discovered the Glen Ellyn HOB store has had (as of last night, 10-21-07) 122 reports filed against them in the last 36 months. Ripoffreports is great, but it doesn't DO anything except alert other customers. the BBB actually has some power to review your complaint, hopefully bring some restoration to the situation, and potentially help save future customers from similar problems.
