Gosh, where do I begin? I relocated to the area and the house that I was supposed to rent fell though (it was not in the condition portrayed online). So I contacted a realtor that pawned IH off on me.  Since then, I have been counting the days until my lease is up. I have had several issues with IH, most recently 7/10/2014. 

I came home this evening about 7pm and the house was super hot. I look at the thermostat and it reads 85 degs. I call the IH maintenance line at 7:30 and they said it will labeled as high priority and someone would call soon. 

Fast forward 20+ calls later and another 5 degs in this hot house and I still do not have aircon. The maintenance individuals kept repeating that someone would call when they were on the way. Well, I have heard that line before and no one showed up.  So I kept calling and finally a rep said no one is coming out to your rental because it's  not hot enough outside. This was about 11pm and mind you my house is still 90 degs. I am steaming mad at this point and dripping sweat. 

Why didn't you open the windows??? Because IH is too cheap to put window screens in their homes.  The windows in the home are about 8 inches from the floor and I was not going to risk anything crawling in the window or someone breaking in. 

If you still need or want to rent from this company....Do yourself a favor and document all interaction with IH. Question everything.  I made sure I took pics and videos of the home before moving in. I have a strong suspicion that they try everything in their power to keep the large deposits they charge tenants. 

So now I have to wait until someone hopefully comes in the morning and take off from work. 

I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
