Invitation Homes Slum Lords, Liars, Slum Lords Plantation, Florida

  These people are disgusting. I have hired attorneys to get me out of my lease. They provided a 1996 refrigerator that doesn't defrost and told me the place comes as is. I asked, in writing, if I get my own refrigerator and dishwasher can you pick up your 1996 refrigerator and Frigidaire dishwasher that doesn't work. They replied, in writing on August 25, 2015 and said, "we most definitely can arrange that for you". I moved forward, spent $800 and replaced the appliances. They informed me on September 2, 2015 that they were sorry they misinformed me but they don't have a truck to pick up appliances.

Since I have a one car garage and one car driveway, I have to move my car to the street when I have company. I've already received 2 warnings from the HOA about parking in the street. I have gone all the way to the Senior Director of Operations, Lisa Santiago, and am getting the same nonchalant response. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but we don't have a truck. Rent one. Where are my visitora supposed to park? Am I allowed to have company in an Invitation rental home?

Are they supposed to park somewhere else and walk here? Am I supposed to pick them up at Walgreens? I have let them know over and over I have no where else to park but in the garage. They could care less. I told them I was putting their 19 year old refrigerator and dishwasher that doesn't work on the curb for heavy pick up and they said they would press charges. Go for it. Charges for what? They should be paying me to dispose of their completely worthless junk. The junk that should have already been replaced. The roof also leaks every time it rains. The roofers said the roof is completely shot and has been leaking for years.

Awesome. That means this place is full of mold too. They've owned the place for two years. Clearly they already knew the roof leaks. I would say be sure to get everything in writing, but they don't honor that either. Total slum lords and liars who display no professionalism, business etiquette or care at all about anything other than collecting rent.
