Joseph, Steven & Associates Telemarketing Harrassment Ventura California

I received a phone call from an individual who stated that he was performing an investigation and needed to speak with the Owner or Controller immediately. When asked to identify himself, he refused and loudly demanded that I put the Owner on the phone immediately.I informed him that he would need to first identify himself and he continued a loud very rude tirade demanding to speak with the Owner immediately. I then asked to be removed from their calling list and he replied "bsolutely Not!"and then hung up.

I called the number back to again ask to be removed from their calling list and report the earlier behavior. At that time I discovered that he represented Joseph, Steven & Associates. I was then told that they did not fall under telemarketing rules and were under no obligation to remove our number from their calling lists. Therefore, they would continue to call if they chose to.
