Joseph,Steven & Associates rude obnoxious threatening yelling lots of cursing name calling wouldn't listen lied hung up on Ventura California

I am very irate and feel as if I was treated unfairly by this so called business. I had actually already made a payment to the business they represented,but Joseph,Steven & a*s. lied and said I had put a stop payment on the check,then they hung up on me.
So,I called them back,was put on hold for a very long amount of time,and was given back to the same person who was so incredibly rude and hateful to me. He started by cussing me out,called me a deadbeat,said he was going to come here and collect on the debt,etc.
I do not think I have ever been spoken to in that manner by someone who is supossed to be collecting debts,or any other type of job. It was totally uncalled for,to be treated in such a horrible manner.
I have since spoken with the company that hired them to collect the debt from me. Since they did indeed cash my check,I will be dealing with them again,and not this bogus,ill run,joke of a collection agency. The company tried to contact Joseph,Steven & a*s.,but cannot get anyone to answer the phone. What a suprise,indeed.
I would advise everyone to steer clear of this company,and from other reports that I have read,it seems that they are doing an excellent job of ruining their own reputation.
