Just Brakes rip-off! Sells cheap individual parts for expensive price. Waco Texas

I was in a hurry one day and Just Brakes was the only place open on a saturday and I needed to get to another city for my sister's graduation. My car was having problems stopping and it took a lot of effort and a lot of road to stop.

I took it to Just brakes and they drove it around then came back and put it up onto the lift. I knew it hadn't been the brakes themselves because the brakes were basically brand new not even a year old.

After they had put it up onto the lift I stood there, and watched them while they had the car up on the lift and what they were doing with my car.

So there it was they pulled off both my back tires and it was smoking, they had said that it was the hose and that it had to be replaced, I think to myself how much can this repair kit in this little box of plastic holding little connecters, a small flexible hose that is basically five inches in length, and some other various parts cost, I was sure it couldn't be over ten bucks twenty-five at the most, but boy was I wrong.

While in the middle of the process of them telling me my break fluid lines were bad, they proceeded to tell me that my drums were bad too, and they said that it was going to cost me $625 dollars .

I told them they were brand new and they were going to have to be done regardless. This whole time I had my father on the phone telling him what was going on, and he kept telling me not to let them do this or that, because what they were wanting to do to the car was not necessary.

Me dad had to sit there and argue with the man over the phone, and tell him that it was not going to cost him over 600 dollars and that he knew that he was ripping him off with the kit, and the man was getting mad at him and telling him how he was not going to be responsible for anything and he had to put the drums back onto the car that were mine previously.

They charged me for the kit and the kit its self ended up costing me $256 dollars, and the labor charge was 25 dollars. I think to myself, how stupid is this. I shudder to think that Just Brakes has this thing of taking advantage of people because they feel that they do not know anything about the parts or the cars, and trust me Just Brakes is not the only Mechanic places that does this, unfortunately a lot of people fall prey to the beasts that seek to drain their wallets under the guise of helping them out.
