I ordered $578 worth of Lenox china in April. When I called two weeks after placing the order, they said it would take four weeks. When I began calling after four weeks, the voicemail box for customer service was "full" and not accepting messages. The email for customer service bounced back as undeliverable.
I have filed complaints with the North Carolina Attorney General's office, PayPal (which processed the payment from my bank account), the Better Business Bureau and I'm in the process of filing with the Matthews, NC, police. I wish I had seen Ripoff Report before I placed the order. Now, I have no china and no money. I want a refund, but they have been totally unresponsive. My next step will be to contact a lawyer.

PayPal finds in my favor -- still can't my money back

I filed a claim with PayPal. They found in my favor -- but they say they can't get my money back from placesettings.com either. PayPal makes this look like a legitimate website -- but clearly they are not fulfilling orders.
