TaxBrain Santa Barbara Bank, Careless, lost my tax refund and when I called they hung up on me Internet, California

A friend of mine just called me and told me there was a issue with tax returns filled on taxbrain using SBT for funds transfer. I went on the internet and found out that refunds were sent to Republic Bank in Kentucky instead of SBBT.

I called Republic Bank in Kentucky and they told me my refund had been sent to their bank and would be sent back to the IRS next week. They also told me I could not get my refund from their bank and the IRS would issue a paper check in 6 to 8 weeks. Needless to say I AM LIVID!!! My family has used TaxBrain for the past 5 years and they convinced me just this year to use TaxBrain. No one from TaxBrain has contacted me telling me of this situation. I have called several time but they just pass the buck and blame everyone else. I have informed my family of this situation and they will not be using TaxBrain again and neither will I. As I understand it, TaxBrain's error has effected 1000's of their customers and they have not issued one explaination or apology!!

Everyone effected should go to Face Book, Twitter and their local media and report this. The reason why TaxBrain is not acknowledging their blunder is because they do not want to tip off other likely victims.
