Beware of the TriClear 'Free Trial' or "Try it today for Free" Ads.

Once you sign up to see if it even works on you or your child's skin, you will pay $6.95 shipping, all billed to your credit card, of course. Should you go to their web site and contact Customer Service to cancel, for what ever reason, you will find it is not easy to send the product back without it costing you more money. I am not talking about what you would pay in postage to send it back to them.

Call to cancel? Fine. It will be canceled right away, now what will you do with the product they have sent you? Well, Guess What.

If you want to send the product back to them do it as soon as possible, because the company will bill your credit card $69.95 for your two month's supply, and you have just received the first month's supply.

Send it Back? If you send it back, sealed, never opened, you will be charged, on your credit card, a $9.95 restocking fee. If you return it unsealed your credit card will be charged a $19.95 restocking fee. See how the cost just ran up?

Guess what? When you contact their Customer Service through their web site to cancel, they will inform you that it is canceled, and they are going to charge your credit card $29.95 for you to keep the product.

If you send it back you will be charged $9.95 or $19.95. Add in your original $6.95 shipping and handling you paid when you originally decided to try the product out for their offering of a 'Free Trial'. You can see how they have a Win-Win situation. If you are not happy with their product, you will have a Lose-Lose situation.

The bottom line is, if you are not happy with their product no matter what it cost you to cancel; cancel within their 'free Trial' time period, or they will charge your credit card the $69.95 two month's fee. Oh, and good luck sending the second package back to them without getting charged a re-stocking fee.

I was charged $1.00 +$5.95 for shipping and handling of the 'Free Trial Sample.' I soon learned that it wasn't working for my son's skin. I called within the 'Trial Period' and was given the costs to send the 'Trial Sample' back. I was then informed of the
restocking fees on a sliding scale, and then they charged my credit card $29.95.

To send the unused portion back to them it would have cost me over $26.00 to include their restocking fee and the shipping and handling I had already paid. Add onto that the postage I would have had to pay to send it back, and I guess I broke even.

The $20.00 for a 'free trial' charge previously reported must have been for a customer who did not even 'TRY' the product, and just realized it would be better to cut their losses and send it back to them right away.

GOOD LUCK!

its all under the terms and conditions... if you follow the terms and cancel within the trial period you will only be charged the 6.95! a restocking fee is a common fee among most businesses. i was treated very well with the company and enjoyed my free product!
