Value City Furniture Lost order, Lying manager Mentor, Ohio

I ordered bedroom furniture from the store.  When I arrived to pick them up, I was informed they could give me part of my order but had accidentally given my headboard and foot board to another customer.  They informed me they would deliver the headboard and foot board the following day and would call in the morning to confirm delivery times.

When I received no call the following day, I called the store around 4pm to ask about the furniture.  No one seemed to know what I was talking about initially.  Finally, I was able to speak to the warehouse manager who promised delivery.  He told me they weren't able to get a hold of the customer they gave my furniture to so I would have to wait 5 days and come back to pick up a new on they would order.  I informed him that this was unacceptable, but he insisted it was the only option. 

After informing a male in my household of the situation, he was very upset and called back. First he was for a phone number for a regional manager and was told that the manager does not have a company phone and simply uses email they aren't permitted to give out.  He then asked to speak to a manager who lied and told him it was only scheduled for pick up because I refused delivery and had I accepted delivery it would have arrived earlier than pickup.

So now I have to wait another week to have a bed and still have to pick it up myself despite their errors.  I will never purchase anything from this store again.
