Bought a Simones mattress, box spring, and baseboard from value city furniture in August 2011 for around $1100-$1200 . By August 2012 the frame was broken and the bed had created weird lump on one side because I only slept on the other side. VCF sent a technician to come look at it and take pictures. He fixed frame and I was allowed to pick new mattress and box spring with some difficult and multiple calls.go to store and pick new one out and get promised the one I chose was just randomly defective. Chose new one and not even six months latter air bubble issue occurs. Called again technical guy came out said oh I never see this in Simon's mattresses. I get a call from Heather the manager saying she would only replace frame after letting her know last time it was frame and box spring she goes on to say maybe I should invest a little bit more money and get a better product. I say six hundred plus for a mattress n box spring is not a lot? She says. I would never use that. Brand and no its nit a lot of money. I said well the salesmen and tech guy said it was she said oh ya one of them is lying to you. There products are defective and I am concerned my mattress was too

Let me start by saying this occurred January 5th and I contacted the "manager" on January 6th. I also opened a case with the BBB against. I talked to the manager on January 6th and he pretty much said oh I will replace the mattress and the box spring alright thank you sir for being so kind to pretty much do what my warranty said you had to. I latter got a response from them saying someone from customer service would contact me asap. I did not get a response until 1/14/2013.

So Mr. Tony from the Niles location called me three times in one day stating that he had received my complaint from the BBB not even through the ripoff report, so guess they will be getting back to me ASAP huh. He stated this was the first time hearing my complaint even though I called and spoke to a "manager" on the 6th of January, and made a ripoff report. Mr. Tony reiterated my complaint and said he would be willing to give me a better mattress at the same cost...in fact $100 more.

I asked him if Ms. Heather the woman who told me to purchase a better mattress/sales person was lying to me/ my money was not good enough still working there. He said yes,  I asked him as a consumer if someone in higher management told you that your money was not good enough, and the product you had purchased was not good enough why would you go back to the store. He responded that of course not, that VCF was not a bad company/sold bad products. Which makes me question then why keep someone in higher management who is telling consumers that either sales persons are lying or the mechanic coming to inspect the bed is?

I am beyond furious with VCF I do not want any products from them, its clear that the actions by Ms. Heather is not only accepted but there has been no repercussions for her actions. I will continue my case with the Better Business Bureau, because I do not want to products/associate with a company that not only has bad products but supports bad customer service.
