My table had a few surface scratches and some peeling paint on the edges of the table. In March or April, they delivered my table to me and it now looked as if they spray painted it with black spray paint. There were dents in the table that weren't there, grooves that were very noticeable. The texture of my table was very different from when I purchased the table. I immediately said something to the delivery guys, and their response was for me to call VCF and let them know. So the table remained for another week or so before they came back out and picked it up.
At this time, me and my children had no table to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner on. The store manager, Pam was very apologetic. She offered me $100 because she realized that it was taking much longer than normal. She also arranged for a loaner table to be delivered upon them picking up my table once again. At this time, I am getting very frustrated. I have to call them in order to get an update on my table. No one is calling me to let me know anything.
I visited the store to look at my table in May 2012, and there was no difference. Pam called every store location possible to see if they had the table and nothing. It is now June and still no table, no results. I called Pam about two weeks ago to check the status, and she offered to give me my table back, messed up and pay me for the table. But that was two weeks ago.
I think I need to contact a lawyer.
