What is happening to me is likely to be happening to many others. I had autopay set up with Verizon to pay for my monthly bill. It was working fine for quite a while, then it started to not take my payments out of my bank account. I was being charged a late fee for not paying my bill on time. I went in and reset up the autopay. Two months later I got another bill saying that I had a late payment. This happened 3 times so I decided to switch to straight talk and just pay out right every month. Buying a card for $45 was cheaper then having Verizon and paying $90 for the same services and not being charged late fees for reasons I don't know. So I went and got my phone and my first card and set up my straight talk phone. I had my phone number ported over to straight talk. The port went 4 days into the billing cycle of Verizon. And now they are charging me for the full cycle of the bill instead of just the four days into that cycle. I believe that this is a rip off. I talked to Verizon customer service they said that it was in the customer agreement that I had to pay for the full cycle. I was no longer in a contract with them I was paying month to month. I was never advised about this agreement where I had to pay a full month cycle when having my phone ported to a different company.I asked them to send me a copy of the agreement where I signed it. They advised me they couldn't do that I would have to go to whereI had signed up for their services to do that.I agreed that I would pay me the four days into my billing cycle that the port took. They could not agree to that an that I would have to talk to thier billing department. Verizon's billing department gave me the same story that I'd have to pay for the full cycle.I again told them that I would pay for the four days into the billing cycle that the Port went ad that was it. I told them why should I pay for a service thatI was not receiving. Now they have their CBE group calling me multiple times a day.
