I tried to shop at my local Walmart in Bonham,Tx, where I have lived for over 35 years. When checking out, Telecheck denied my check. Funds are in the account at the bank. In fact I do quite a lot of business with my bank. I called Telecheck to resolve the issue and was told to write smaller checks!! By d**n I made this money and I will spend it like I want too. If Walmart does not want it then someone else will get my business. Telecheck personnel need to be taught English, because the foreigner I got, sure could not do it. I even asked for her surpevisor, the language barrier got worse and nothing was resolved. The pharmacy in Walmart has been getting several thousand dollars of my business. Guess where I am headed too. It will not be  Walmart as long as they use Telecheck services. I am also a business owner, so I know how the game works. If I get a hot check, I sure have no problem letting the local D.A. have it collected.

AUTHOR: Mattitude - ()

Ask you bank for a debit card and to send you one, otherwise go to anothe bank that will offer one as this will resovle you issue in the future, otherwise, your entire point makes you look like a criminal!

"This also happened at two other business using Telecheck, within the same week."

So your complaint is about Telecheck and not Walmart, or the other two businesses.

The first time the amount was $170, and the second was for $39. No cash back either time. Just payment for items purchased.

How much were the checks for? Were you planning on getting back additional cash (for example buying something for 25 dollars and writing a check for 100 dollars).
