Walmart Packaged delivered to wrong address. Has access to personal information with tracking number. internet

 I had purchased a rabbit cage from walmart.com and paid for shipping to my address. When the package was not recieved by the date it was supposed to be delivered, I went on to the website to see what was going on. Upon doing so i see that my package was delivered but not to me.

It was recieved clear across the country to california and i am from pennsylvania. I contacted walmart to see what the issue was, and they said they screwed up but don't have an explanation for the mix up. Now they said to just repurchase the item and they would make sure it was done correctly this time. We told them we just wanted the cage and for them to overnight the cage because the bunny was already purchase due to the cage being here today.

The first person said they can not do it that way. We have to refund your money and would have to repurchase the item due to someone else recieving the package and they would pay for overnight shipping once we repurchased the item. We asked to talk to a superviser at that time and this guy said he was the highest person there that we could talk to.

So after we hung up I was still not satisfied with the result and decided to call back to try and talk to someone else. This person said the same thing except that we did have the option to just have the cage resent and they could overnight the package, after someone just told me that my only option was to repurchase the item. So now I said ok lets just do that and the lady said Im sorry I cant do that because the money is already in the process of a refund.

So now I am furious. Now I am stuck with a bunny and it has nothing to live in and is destrying my house. So I go back on to walmart.com and descover that if you have the tracking number on the package, you can log on and access all my personal information(name, address, credit card info, ect.). So now I am really worried at this point because who ever recieved and signed for my package in california now had access to my information this whole time and I didnt even know it.

Now they say there is nothing they can do and just appoligized. I live off my ssi and am worried that these people have all my info and can hack my bank account. I am really not satisfied with what is going on and wonder how many others this company does this to. So now i have to contact all these other agencies to make sure nothing happens to me with these people having all my personal info.
