I recently purchased an Everstart (Neverstart) Maxx es4l-bs powersports battery from Walmart. I followed the manufacturers instructions on filling and charging the battery. I installed the battery and it worked perfectly for one day. The following day I attempted to start my motorcycle but the battery was dead. I attempted to have the battery charged at Advanced Auto Parts. They ran a test that showed my battery was dead with a charge of only 0.56V. I attempted to return my defective battery to the Walmart store that I purchased it from only to be informed that Everstart Batteries, a Johnson Controls product labeled by Walmart, only carries a 30 day warranty. I strongly advise anyone seeking a battery to look elsewhere. The response from both Walmart and Johnson Controls has left me feeling fleeced.

Then why did you not post that info in your initial post? Just cause you didn't read the warranty info and follow the rules makes them wrong? Tell the whole story next time

Great job on the math. Basically, I waited 28 days and then 32 more just to test the ability of a consumer to obtain just compensation for a defective product. Or, possibly I had more important things to do than to maintain a hobby. Furthermore, I was not aware of the warranty when I tried to obtain a replacement. Why do you think I waited 28 days?
I would like to thank Johnson Controls of Milwaukee, WI, a distributor of Everstart batteries, for replacing this battery. Their customer service department was easy to work with and quickly resolved this issue.

The battery gave you problems on the second day. Why did you wait 28 days to return it?
