You know when the acronym ISP is used, it is to be used by a company that actually provides the service. Unlike MediaCom who has you sign a contract for services, say over a 2 years peiod, and then, only provide half the service, along with the very anoying menu when you call them for support. Lets see it took 3 Months to get my internet cpnnection correted so that I may have internet whenever i tried to get on my computer. The techs that were supposed to show, 1 out three times, one did, replaced the modem that they provided, which I must say was intereting, becuase when I looked upo the modem on line,

one of the times that actually acheived connectivity, the company that made those modems, does not mafacture those modems anymore OR suport them. I finally had the internet set and was able to connect for about 2 months. Now I am back to having to reset the modem and my router everytime I want to get online It was explained to me, that they can suppport 20 customers on one pedestal, but at the present time they have 35 and internet outages will occur. The problem wil be corrected by August 22, are you kidding me. If you ever get a chance of another internet provider, I highly suggest you look elsewhere than MediaCom.

Why don't you fix everyones account by just admitting you can not offer internet speeds you promise and the 20 mbps and the upcoming 50 mbps are simply unprofessional lies to take hard earned money from people for as long as you can.  Maybe as we look across your support area there will be enough to file a suit and stop you in your tracks or at least take some money away from you.  20 mbps my rump....... if you can provide me that which I have paid for over the past 3 years then I will eat my car!  I don't expect to be tasting any metal soon as I think you guys simply pay a phone company for a DSL interface somehow and then claim these GREAT BIG DOWNLOAD SPEEDS so you can simply rip people off.  So why don't you fix that mediacom Chris!!!
