7 Productions7 Promotions Another "marketing" job scam from the people behind "COR Concepts," "Global Business Group Inc.," "SEA International Inc." Valhalla New York

I'm posting this so job-seekers who frequent these boards don't get ripped off by a company calling itself "7 Promotions." The company is a pyramid scheme run by Rene Leveque, a 26-year-old Port Chester woman who has operated the same business under the names "Global Business Group Inc," "COR Concepts," "A List Marketing" and "SEA International Inc."

Leveque and her "director of human resources," a 21-year-old Yonkers woman named Ilanna Yurman, routinely post job openings on sites like Craigslist, HotJobs, CareerBuilder, etc, offering what they call "marketing positions" but which are really just lower-tier positions in a pyramid scheme where Leveque and Yurman instruct new "hires" to sell fake corporate discounts for Verizon phone service. As part of the "interview process" they ask potential employees to work for free shadowing employees higher up in the pyramid scheme, accompanying them as they sell their counterfeit corporate phone plans door-to-door, unsolicited. Since Verizon does not actually contract with any of Leveque's businesses, the "discount phone plans" are not legitimate -- what Leveque's business is actually "selling" is a lesser-known service already available to Verizon's corporate clients.

Although Leveque frequently changes the name of her business to avoid the bad reputation that inevitably comes with ripping off her employees and the businesses she sells "phone plans" to, several complaints about her businesses can be found on sites like RipOffReport.com and (((Redacted)))

Because neither of these women are particularly intelligent, they both have public MySpace pages complete with photos of themselves "getting f**king wasted,"(in their own words), numerous marijuana references and photos of themselves simulating sex, playing drinking games and generally debasing themselves.

A Google search turns up a published "poem" by "human resources director" Ilanna Yurman, whose given e-mail address is sexenyrican420@hotmail.com, containing an overt marijuana reference. Yurman's "poem" reads:

Addiction Sex is an addiction, it comes with every possition once you start you have to finish your misson its not a hard decision and right now for it im wishing dreaming of us kissing while ur head is hissin between my thighs boy you look fly i wish my hands you would tie to the bed post oh i love when your so close

On Yurman's MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/nydimechick), she describes herself as "the Director of Human Resources @ a Marketing & Sales firm and I love every minute of it." Included in her tagged photos are several with Leveque, with both of themselves in various states of drunkenness, and Leveque tagged as "the boss."

On Leveque's MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/29762295), she lists herself as "president" of 7 Promotions and Global Business Group Inc., and alludes to her former businesses: "Rene Christine Leveque I just like to have fun..I live in Port Chester, NY and I have moved around so much in the past couple of years.. met some really awesome ppl along the way. I love my family, my shell bell, friends, office and of course my puggys.. I opened my first company in DC and run a sales and marketing firm. Yeah Global Business Group, Inc!!! I love it!! I just moved to NY to open my second office and NY is way better than DC.. so much to do and I'm so excited!"

On both MySpace pages, Leveque and Yurman have uploaded themselves in various states of undress and intoxication, as well as several photos showing drug and alcohol use, and other photos of themselves "throwing up gang signs":

All of this information was found LEGALLY and PUBLICLY using a simple series of Google searches and I am posting it here as a warning to any job-seekers who are tempted by the company's offers and find themselves in a desperate situation in this economy. Please don't respond to Leveque and Yurman's businesses, you will be victimized in a pyramid scheme by two women who have no class, no skills to teach, no opportunities to offer and no real jobs. Please BE CAREFUL and watch out for similarly-worded job postings from these people, as they change their company names frequently in an effort to keep ahead of their bad reputation.

Again, all information in this post was found legally and is documented with links. I expect Leveque and Yurman will delete their MySpace accounts or set them to private, but I've saved them for posterity in case this information needs to be posted repeatedly to warn enough people about their schemes.
