AT&T Ripoff Former Top Producer Employee 2 Years After She Has Resigned From Company My last page was calculated by AT&T Compensation Dept. Received an email with the amount that will be paid as my final check. Two years after my final check AT&T sends a letter stating that they over paid me by $602.00. There was no documentation to backup their claim. And after I refused to respond to their Ripoff, they sold the info to a CO in Calif as if I had their phone services. I was employed at AT&T formerly SBC for 3.5 yrs as Account Executive. I was their Top Producer for all those years. I decided to persue another opportunity outside AT&T so I resigned on 6/1/07. Before leaving I contacted my manager and requested information on my final paycheck. I also spoke with compensation about the same. I received an email with the amount I would receive from compensation and my manager.

As of May 2009 2years after receiving my final paycheck, I received a letter from AT&T Risk Management stating that I was overpaid by $602.00. There was no documentation to backup their claim. I sent the letters back to AT&T and as of June 2009, AT&T sold my information to a Collection agency implying that they were a creditor of mine and that this company needs to collect the $602.00. I have proof of the amount of monies I was owed and did not receive the full of amount owed me. Now, 2 years later AT&T is stating that I owe them money after they told me what my final paycheck would be.

I worked by butt off for this company and trained many of their people who was promoted over me because they wanted to keep me in place to keep producing and training others. I feel that this is a cheap way to hurt former employees. I spoke with others who have said that the same thing happened to them as well. And that they felt that this is a problem with that company.
