I had service with Sprint but at least 3 to 4 times a month my service would be disconnected. After several months of this happening with no explanation I decided to try out at&t. They sold me on the go plan because I already had a brand new phone and it would be cheaper with all the benefits as having a contract phone. I thought great sign me up. My job requires me to have internet service and I have paid more for adding to my unlimited plan than paying an actual contract bill. I was told after the fact that yes, you have unlimited data but it runs slow. They then proceeded to tell me that because I have a smart phone I'm going to consume all the data pretty early on.

My data lasted about 8 hours on the day I paid my bill. I was confused and they suggested I but more data. I gave in and bought the data which lasted 26 minutes. There was nothing customer service could do so I called the bank to dispute the charges and I'm cancelling this service at the end of the month. How can a company sell you unlimited data and tell you it's because of your smart phone that you've used all the data which again is suppose to be unlimited. All phones are smart phones. If I had a flip phone I wouldn't need the data plan. These companies shouldn't be allowed to get away with this.
