I have an AT&T account that used to be bundled with a Direct TV account. On April 4, 2018, I canceled my Direct TV account and just have a home phone through AT&T. I have received a statement from Direct TV stating I owe nothing and have a credit (refund) of 61.58. AT&T keeps billing me for $106.00 for said Direct Tv account that I do not have. I have talked with Direct TV 3 times and AT&T 8 times about this. Just today I was passed off to 5 people to get any answers as to why they keep billing me. I got nowhere.

My AT&T account number 147110856, AT&T keeps charging me a late fee $5.00 on a Direct TV bill that I don't owe. I still have a home phone through AT&T but it is always paid.

My old Direct TV account number 64194055 with a confirmation number that Direct TV gave me stating that this is resolved on their end 7234910031190150 that I owe nothing and have a credit balance of $61.58.

I have been given the runaround from  AT&T and they can not tell me why they keep billing me for an account I do not have. I'm tired of this. I have contacted AT&T 3 times by phone and 4 times by chat online and 3 times I've contacted Direct TV.

As of today, AT&T has taken the $61.58 off of my bill from Direct TV on an account I haven't had for 4 months. I have not received a refund from Direct TV as the $61.58 is a credit. 

I have received advertising from Direct TV to come back with many "specials" going on. I just want my over-payment and I will be a satisfied past customer.

No Response From Direct TV

This is the second letter I have written to the CEO of Direct TV and they will not forward it to his email  Dear Mr. Michael White, CEO Direct TV I am writing to you here at your email address because I have not received a proper response to the letter I wrote to you in July 2018. My Direct TV account number was #64194055. I canceled Direct TV on 4-28-2018. I have received 3 billing statements (May, June and July) that say my account has been disconnected and that I have a -$61.58 balance, no payment due, no equipment to return. ON ALL 3 STATEMENTS! What I would like to know is why I have not received a refund on a $61.58 credit and a confirmation number that was given to me by one of your representatives? That confirmation number is #7234910031190150. I was told when this confirmation number was given to me that it will take 7-10 days to cut a refund check, this was over a month ago. This whole ordeal is now going on 4 months to get resolved. I, in good faith, bundled my Direct TV with AT&Tbills. I still have AT&T, but Direct TV has not done anything to make sure AT&T knows I no longer have an account with Direct TV. (I have, along with giving AT&T the confirmation number). I have contacted both you and the CEO of AT&T, no answer. Out alone contacting both your companies customer service people and AT&T's customer service, both 5 times, (by phone, by email and also on chat with a representative) not counting the letters I wrote. Beings Direct TV has not fully closed this issue and mailed me a refund check, AT&T has not been given the information that I haven't had Direct TV since April 29. 2018 even though AT&T's representatives look up my account and right in front of them is the knowledge of not having a Direct TV account and that I owe nothing with a refund due. I would greatly appreciate an answer why you or your company does not think it is necessary to answer someone who has been more than patient with the unprofessionalism. Is this the kind of quality of customer service that you promote, you, Mr.White? Sincerely, Gloria Morley

I Am Still Being Billed

I am still being billed $61.58 plus 5.00 late fees every month from AT&T for a Direct TV account I have not had since 4-29-18. I have not received a refund from Direct TV. Both Direct TV and AT&T know and it has been confirmed that I am due a refund of $61.58.

I have written Michael White CEO from Direct TV and Randall Stephenson CEO from AT&T and mailed the letters with a copy of each to both CEO's om 7-24-2018.

I may not get an answer from either because they both probably already know how inadequate their companies are having to do with customer service.
