 Century-link actively blocks Magic-jack phone services from their DSL modems. This obsoleted phone company never changed their tune, and now is in the internet provider business with a very low DSL modem speeds that actively block all incoming and outgoing calls from a Magic-jack device, don't bother calling their customer service, they are in the Philippines and don't know what Magic-jack is or how to fix it, you will have to change the modem settings yourself and assign IP addresses etc, and after you do all that they find a back door to continue to block your Magic-Jack service. My advice is to get rid of this dinosaur and go with (((REDACTED))) it's as simple as plugging it in to the cable modem after the initial set up an you get a dial tone.
