CHOICE HOME WARRANTY I paid a costly 2 year home warranty up front. They have been patching up my furnace which they have never fixed. Having the same problem (NO HEAT) for 1 year and they refuse to replace my unit. New Jersey

I have been dealing with CHOICE HOME WARRANTY for an entire year with no results. 5 different companies have come out to "repair" my unit. The unit works for a few days sometimes only one day then it goes back to blowing out cold air. EVERYTHING to troubleshoot this has been done. Ive been catching colds left and right. Having to deal with freezing temperatres overnight for my 11 year old son and i. I also rent my home to Airbnb which has been very uncomfortable for my guests. I sent  many emails.

My contract states that they will replace the unit if they cant fix it. NOthing but Shoddy service from the service techs that have come out only to promote their own companies.  The service techs say that they are not inclined to provide actual service because Choice home warranty does not pay them enough. The provide illegitimate recommendations that allow the company the ability to not be accountable for replacing the unit if actually necessary. If i do not receive my refund for the entire policy then i will be alerting my attorney to move ahead with a lawsuit.

My association with CHOICE HOME WARRANTY has been to my detriment and does not benefit me at all. This has been a total waste of time and money.  My son and i are constantly catching colds because they are not willing or able to fix my furnace nor will they replace it as stated within the contract.  I need a refund asap. The last tech said that they do not paying him so he is not inclined to come back out and that it takes him 3 hours to get to my place. He said he is not getting even gas money from CHOICE home warranty.  5 different companies have come to service this unit.

Not to mention the last tech had a very inappropriate conversation with me as well while he was here. The heat happened to be on when he was here. The only way it works is when i physically go down to the basement to switch the unit off and on. I am tired of waking up freezing in the middle of the night. This has been a total nightmare. I have asked for a copy of my agreement which they have not been able to provide.  The unit is blowing COLD AIR in the winter time. I have maintained it by cleaning the vents and changing the filters nd keeping all vents open on my own.  There needs to be some resolve.
