I added a new channel from cox and cancelled our subscrition for STARZ. The next day my husband said that he was unable to watch the NBA league pass. So, he called Cox, and cox reinstalled it for him without letting him know that it was $180... (their telephone communications are recorded).
So to cut the story short, I called them and I was very upset that they are charging us $50/month for the channel. They explained to us that my husband was probably watching the NBA league pass during a promotion period and thought that it was cancelled when I cancelled STARZ (a coincidence)...Ok so, granting that its partly our fault then I would like that channel cancelled. Cox said that I can't have it cancelled because you buy it as a season...This mad me so mad... So, they still have to charge me $50 per month until I pay off the $180 because you buy it as a season. There is no way that it can be cancelled. What's worst is that on the next NBA season they will send me an invitaion to subscribe again and IF I DON'T REPLY they will AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATE MY SUBSCRIPTION. and charge me another $180...
Today my husband opened the channel and nothing is showing...so I called COX and I talked with a TRACY who sounded annoyed and said that of course nothing is showing on the NBA league pass because a local channel bought the rights to telecast the NBA live today...and that they can't control this and its only NBA who knows where the game will be shown. Yup they can't control the NBA but surely they can inform their customers about this prior to activating it...
Nobody informed us that there are blackout days for this channel and for a consumer to be unable to cancel it is a total rip off....
