Hi friends,
I was recently ripped off by a business and I need the help of all my friends.
I purchased a camera package online at www.expresscameras.com, also doing business as www.Bluestripephoto.com , which included 2 lenses, and when I received the camera one of the lenses was missing. I called the company to inform them they had not shipped one of my lenses and I was put in touch with the rudest person I have ever had to deal with in my life.
He talked in circles treating me like a complete idiot, and hung up on me several times. I tried to reach a manager and couldnt get anyone else on the phone besides this jerk. Obviously he is the whole business and just sits in his little office ripping people off.. I was really worried that someone that treated my so badly had my credit card number so I immediately called the bank and had them reissue me a new card.
I am always a little apprehensive about ordering on line so before I had ordered the camera I had done a quick check on the Better Business Bureau website and nothing came up. I realized after I had typed in Express camera instead of Express Cameras ( I forgot the S on the end). Huge mistake.
This business has over 135 complaints against them, and the NJ Attorney Generals office is investigating them for a whole list of offences. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and the New Jersey Attorney Generals office. I provided all my receipts to show proof of purchase.I have not heard back from the Attorney generals office. The Better business bureau informed the business of the claim twice and they did not respond back to the BBB. I checked back today and the BBB closed the case because the business had not responded.
Thats it!!! This is completely wrong and there is nothing I can do about it. How long can a business continue to rip people off before someone wil do something about it?
Well I believe the best advertising is word of mouth. With email and sites like this I believe you can reach hundreds if not thousands of people. Please, Please help me by letting http://expresscameras.com know what you think of how they do business. Maybe for a split second this guy might think twice about ripping more people off.
