Express Cameras ripoff Tries to bait and switch and if you don't go for it your item is indefinitely on backorder Edison New Jersey

This company really walks the hairy edge of prosecutable fraud. I, as one of the other complaintants, tried to purchase a Fuji S2 Pro Package from Cameras Expess. The price was good enough that I expected some high pressure sales tactics to try to get me to order more "accessories" which happened. They also tried to get me to swith from Nikon Lenses to an "upgrade package" of Sigma lenses they are selling at outrageously inflated prices and are not as good as the Nikon no matter what the operator says.

I held firm that what I ordered was exactly what I wanted and I was told well then (implying that if I did not want the "upgrade") the order would take four weeks. He seemed irritated when I said that was OK with me.

Well after six weeks I called up to get a status on the order and was told that the camera was back ordered. Let me tell you that no where else is this camera back ordered and though their web site does not provide stock information,one of the price rating sites has theh camera listed as in stock at Cameras Express.

I called back and threatened a bit, told them that I wanted a firm shipping date and in the end cancelled the order. Other people have complained that they have been charged to cancel orders or have even been given fradulent cancellation confirmations so I expect I will not be sure if I am done with this company for some time yet.
