Mediacom Mediacom: if you move and they can't offer you service they still nail you for early termanation. Internet

I just moved to a new address not to far from my old home. Called mediacom to have my service changed. Was told that they did not offer service in my area so I asked to cancel my contract and was told that I would have to pay a early termination fee. Ridiculous, I said. Nope, the less then helpful rep told me that the "courts" up held that is you moved to somewhere they could not provide service that they can and will charge you a early termination fee. Sounds like someone is blowing smoke. I will never use mediacom again.
