In the mix of the Centrix/Flat Iron/Peak 5

I am totally at fault for being behind my car payments... and even so signing a car note with a ridiculous rate...

I tried to catch up and the company allowed me to defer a payment and set up a "scheduled" payment. The company deducted the payment from my banking account a month prior to the agreed time, so I called my bank and filled out the paperwork disputing the claim. My bank rejected the transaction and Centrix explained they would not take any payments from me over the phone using a check/debit, so I made a moneygram in the amount to get caught up.

I verified at that time that no additional payments were scheduled/authorized on my banking account and they reassured me payments could only be received by Western Union or moneygram. After this conversation, they ended up debiting additional car payments (totally unauthorized) from my banking account that were never scheduled.

I called them and asked them why they told me the next three payments would have to be either moneygram or western union, but they went ahead and processed a payment anyways.... now I'm scared to pay them anything since they randomly make up payments.

They keep calling my work- even though I have asked them several, several times not to. Apparently since I owe them money they have the right to...(?)

I am way upside on the car and I called earlier asking them to do a voluntary repo and the rep went off on me about how I'm neglecting my responsibility and breaking the contract I signed... yadda yadda

It is the most frustrating and biggest mistake that I've made...

I never received a contract w/ the new name or anything, so I'm not sure what I'm responsible for... or what contract I'm held accountable to.

Anyhow- If I had to do it all over again- I would have walked, taken a bus, rode a bike, but not financed a car through this company.
