I bought a used phone that happened to have bad IMEI and was looking for a service that can repair it. I came across The Unlock Pros via a YouTube video that made the company sound legit. I went to the company website, paid for the service, downloaded all the files required to initiate remote access to my phone according to their instructions. Then, I scheduled an appointment with them and a remote connection was established to my phone. First, they complained that my phone keeps disconnecting and I should replace the USB wire in which I did as asked. They wasted over an hour of my time complaining about nonsense. Eventually, they suggested I reschedule for the next day but establish a connection using a different laptop in which I did.
The next day as they established connection with a different laptop, they accessed me of lying to them and that I'm using the same laptop, claiming it's showing the same IP address on their end. I was really disappointed of such accusations. I then emailed their tech support requesting a refund of the money I paid, see attachments for their unprofessional response and be the judge!

Bad experience
AUTHOR: Robin - (USA)

I would have liked to use the service, the reason I didn't finalize was because I wanted to see my phone working before paying.
Anyway when I found the website I wanted to unlock my LG G3 so I talked to a guy named Scott. I'll admit I didn't feel like reading all of the text provided about the service, so I just asked Scott from the chat room that they conviniently have available. Scott was fine at first but then he got rude and told me to read the text and he didn't have time for me. so I read a little bit. I had a few more questions still and he told me to just go to a different unlocking service. I didn't care about that, I just wanted my phone unlocked. I installed the package and told him thanks for his help.
I inext nstalled the chat service and Lorenzo started to help me out.. He told me install the packages so i started doing that and it took A very long time. Finally they installed while Lorenzo was connected the whole time. Then he mentioned that I should pay first and I asked if we could fix my phone first and I he told me that they don't do that. The problem is that I don't trust anymore... So I casually showed him this website hoping he would understand why I wanted to fix the phone first. He told me yup just uninstall have a nic day. Poor Lorenzo he waited with me through the install time like half an hour, maybe more.
So I uninstalled everything that I installed and my phone starts ringing, a call from Nevada.. I should have started recording. But I didn't.
Seems like he was the owner. He said why are you wasting my technicians time? He was shouting at me. I said I'd like to fix the phone first before paying. He told me go to Walmart and leave without paying and see what happens. I said yeah but I can return it when I want to. (I don't know if he understpoor what I meant) Then he said I was a broke mother f**ker I couldn't pay $50? He told me to suck a d**k and he hung up.
Im not sure if that's how you're supposed to conduct business. Bad customer or good! You can't go calling on the phone and cussing them out. That looks horrible on you. I'm sure these guys deal with a bunch of people, but they really need to be more professional. Anyway now I'm going to have to find someone else. Wish I could have unlocked my phone today, I dont know if they're legit and they really unblock phones so this isn't a 5 star rating posts.. But I'm being honest they're super rude. Except Lorenzo he kept his cool during the chat session.
My advice:
1) do your research, they don't like to be bothered with questions.
2) know that you must pay before your phone is fixed
3) install everything in the package that they send you through email
4) go somewhere else if they start being rude to you. If they treat you with respect then work with them.

Most of you did get service thru the internet for unlocking or bad imei repair. Not me, these guys asked me to mail in my HTC phone for imei fix. Good luck mits been 3 weeks and these thieves will not answer my calls or email, refund my money or return my phone. Buyers beware..youre dealing here with professional scam artists.

I live in New Zealand and the Unlock Pros LLC were able to write a new IMEI remotely to my Samsung S5 without any issues what so ever.
Pleasant and quick service and can I say well done...
The price is good too
Not why people complain
WOO h*o these guys deserve 100 stars

I've used these guys twice and I've been very happy with their work, if you are a unhappy customer chances are you probably, don't understand what they are telling you to do. Adam has been my tech twice and he is super fast and efficient. They probably deal with different people all the time so bashing them is going to piss them off they provide a service for people who still want to use their device with another carrier or repair their imei I will continue to use them they are legit!!

That never happened. I am willing to bet you are a competitor making up stories. That would not be the first time or the last. We are actually hiring a company to investigate claims against us to verify that they are legitimate claims and not bogus claims made up by our competitors. We understand that our company is killing the competition and the only thing they have left is slander and lies on internet forums. If they spent more time in educating themselves in cell phone software development and less time on forums maybe someone would actually use their service.

We Told You What Needed To Be Done

We remember you very well. You are the client that failed over and over again to follow our instructions. We had issues with your computer recognizing your phone. If your computer will not recognize your phone how do you expect us to connect to it. We told you that you needed to change computers.
When you came back the 2nd time our tech noticed that you were using the same computer we were having problems with the 1st time. You insisted that it was a different computer. Obviously you are not aware that we record ip and mac addresses for security reasons. Your external ip address and mac address were the exact same as the first time. Your mac address is unique to your network adapter inside your computer. So we knew for a fact you were on the same computer.
So the bottom line is how are we suppose to help you when you do not want to help yourself? You were told to change computers and you failed to do so. Instead of changing computers you come on here with your bold face lies and try to slander our good name.
We run into customers with computer issues now and then. 99% of the time we can resolve them quickly. Again, you were instructed by our tech to change computers and you failed to do so. Nothing could be done until you followed our tech's instructions. Your phone did not get fixed because of you, not us.
And if we are such a scam as you put it. Why do we have hundreds of customer reviews on our website from all of our happy customers. Oh, I guess we made those up too. We are such a scam that we went through the process of setting up your computer and phone and setting up numerous appointments and connecting with you numerous times. If we were just a big scam why bother to go through all that work. Why not just take your money?
The fact of the matter is you are one of those people who create their own problems and blame everyone but yourself. We offered to reconnect to you a third time when you switched computers and you refused to do so. There is nothing else to be said.

Liars always complain.

We remember you quite well. Your the one who had a computer that had all kinds of issues. We told you to reschedule and come back with a different computer...You claim that you came back with a different computer when in fact you did not. The computer you came back with had the same desktop, same ip address and the so called new computer was already connected to our vpn network..by the way to connect to our vpn network you would have to have our password. So obvioulsy it was the same computer. We wasted your time?
Our tech tried to figure out what was wrong with your computer for over an hour. By the way we didnt charge you for our extra time. In reality you wasted our other customers' time. Alll you needed to do was come back with a different computer. But no you just lied and played us for stupid. We do not need your kind. Go to our competition. They only require you to send the phone in and wait up to 14 days to get it back. We dont need liars that have no respect for us or our other customers. Simple as that!
