BE warned about this company. We hired them to place 140 vending machines. They sent someone, a decent guy, to do the job. These ARE NOT Vending Dream employees. They are independent contractors. Most of them are scum.

We lost 10 locations in the first week. NONE of our machines are earning the so-called national average (2.1 vends per day per selection) as Vending Dreams boasted about during their sales pitch. More than half of our machines are earning less than $30 per month. Vending Dreams has done NOTHING about this, despite what their contract promises.

Read their bogus contract. They PROMISE to relocate any lost locations within 2-3 weeks. We've been waiting 4 months and not a single machine has been relocated. They PROMISE to relocate "underperforming" machines after 60 days. NONE our our underperforming machines have been moved. Now they don't even return my emails or phone calls. I've emailed no fewer than 10 times and have left at least that many voice messages. NO RESPONSE. Thankfully 2 of my brothers are attorneys and I WILL pursue this fraudulent, dispicable company until we get every dime back that we paid them - a whopping $8400.00. I will never cease in hunting down Jim Ellis and Susan Davis, because we all know these 2 criminals will shut this company down and open another in a different name. I WILL not let this go. They have definitely messed with the wrong client.

How disappointing it is that people actually conduct themselves in business in this appalling manner. They both should be in prison, along with Chris Ouehler, the so called VP, who made these giant promises in his sales pitch. Shame on all of them. They WILL get theirs.... Just a matter of time.

tammy...i am going through the same thing. jim ellis left me with empty promises. locating the machines is easier than i thought but be forewarned. you may need permits to put them in certain stores. i have had some people complain that they are the business owner and nobody talked to them. thankfully i know owners and am working to put them in business that i have relationships with. jim ellis should be put in prison along with chris "ouhler".

quite frankly i would be happy if my machines did 30/month. that woudl be more than i asked for. i just started so we shall see.

Heres what I'm getting. First off vendstar sucks lets get that out of the way. If you knew that the company with the contract were bogus why go with them. You SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH THE LOCATING COMPANY NO MONEY BEING RETURNED. You might as well cut your losses in half. In fact you might sell them on ebay. Locating is easy takes time.

Heres what I will say. Go after Vending dreams for breach of contract. Thats going to cost you more money. You fall right in the trap. Amazing. Remember you won't see that money at all. Less than $30 of course. They don't give a s**t about you they want that money really bad. Contractors don't make that much.

Tammy, I am going through the same thing, just with not as many machines as yourself. I have a family friend who is a lawyer, but do not know exactly how to go about taking legal action. I would like to know what type of machines you bought because mine are vendstar machines. Also who was the locator they sent you?
